Brasken Labradoodles has its roots in a serendipitous encounter at Universal Studios Hollywood, where Brandon and Kristen first met an Australian Labradoodle being trained as a service dog. This moment sparked a deep appreciation for the breed, leading to years of thoughtful planning and discussion. In 2007, their vision came to fruition with the establishment of Brasken Labradoodles. Over the years, the organization has grown from a shared dream to a well-respected breeding program. Today, it stands as a beacon of excellence in the field, having nurtured numerous puppies and grown alongside Brandon and Kristen’s own family, which now includes three remarkable children. Brasken Labradoodles is a testament to the couple’s unwavering commitment to quality, care, and the love of Australian Labradoodles.

"Where our Mission is to provide the perfect family pet by breeding loving, trusting, healthy, intelligent, and beautiful puppies."

about us

Brasken Labradoodles - Labradoodle Dog Breeders in California

Brasken Labradoodles strives to be one of the best labradoodle dog breeders in California. We want to ensure that each dog gets appropriate care and love, so we purposefully choose to keep a small number of breeding labradoodles at our home, and find guardian homes for most of our Sires and Dams. Each of our breeding dogs are part of a loving family. Also, each dog has up-to-date health and well-being visits to the vet. To meet our dogs, please visit our Studs and Dams pages under the Labradoodles menu option.

Brasken Labradoodles is owned by Brandon and Kristen Silva. In 2004, Brandon and Kristen were introduced to a labradoodle and fell in love immediately. The Silva’s had always wanted to breed dogs, so they combined that desire with their new-found love of labradoodles, and Brasken Labradoodles was born.

History

Labradoodles first came about in response to a very important need: assistance dogs for those with dog allergies. A Labrador Retriever was bred with a Standard Poodle, and the resulting offspring had the trainability and friendliness of a Lab, and the low-shedding, hypo-allergenic, and intelligence of a Poodle. The result? The Labradoodle!

Many years have passed since the first Labradoodle was bred, and the Labradoodle has been developed into a very recognizable breed. Here at Brasken, we have been breeding bloodlines for many generations, and no longer use any of the parent breeds in our litters. All of our Studs and Dams are Labradoodles.
